The collections of heraldic clipart offered here (to which we hope to be adding periodically) contain renditions of heraldic charges as they were drawn in earlier times, as opposed to what is now most prevalently available - modern renditions, the vast majority taken from the works of A.C. Fox-Davies. This is not to say that these modern drawings of charges are not useful; only that sometimes an individual may want to draw a coat of arms in the style of an earlier age, and there is a dearth of sources for such period clipart renditions. The heraldic charges offered here were taken from specific times and places, as noted in each set, and each charge is named by its type, source, and date (e.g., "Unicorn Rampant SW1450" is a Unicorn Rampant, taken from Scheibler's Wappenbuch, dated 1450 A.D. A table in each booklet lists the sources, dates, and abbreviations used in naming each charge.

Each set consists of a booklet with printed copies of each of the charges (three-hole punched for convenience in placing in a binder) and a CD-ROM or USB drive (whichever you prefer) which contains a copy of the booklet in .pdf format as well as every charge contained therein in three standard graphics formats: .bmp, .jpg, and .tif; and two vector graphics formats: .eps and .svg.
