Da'ud Bob ibn Briggs is an Historical Drive-In Movie Reviewer of the
"Briggsian school of alfresco film criticism" founded by movie reviewer
and Showtime and TNT personality Joe Bob Briggs. Da'ud Bob ibn Briggs
writes reviews which are both entertaining and educational of movies which
are set in the Middle Ages and Renaissance (and sometimes earlier)
periods, or pre-technological fantasy worlds (like the "Conan" and "Gor"
series).

Da'ud Bob's monthly movie reviews, Da'ud Bob ibn Briggs Goes to the Movies, have for many years been collected into a series of booklets, each booklet containing two years' worth of movie reviews (24 per volume). Fourteen regular volumes and two specialty volumes of these booklets have been published, but because of declining sales, I have decided to phase out these booklets and replace them with a new, more complete (and more easily updatable) collection, 38 Years of Da'ud Bob ibn Briggs Goes to the Movies. Containing 458 movie reviews, plus an alphabetical list of all those reviews with the date on which each review was first published, and as a bonus, a PowerPoint presentation, "You Might Be Watching a Da'ud Bob Movie If ..." (As only one example from the presentation: "If chickens are used as missile weapons ... against Roman legionaries ... You might be watching a Da'ud Bob movie.")
